Journal #8 10/6: "Counter Claim" I'll give you a claim and a position. You take a stand for the other position. 

Journal #9 10/7: "USA in the 1920s and 1930s" List anything you know about the United States in the 20s and 30s.

Journal #10 10/8: "Risks" What is the riskiest thing you've ever done? Explain. 

10/13 "Historical Context": In your journal, describe three things that caught your attention from the Historical Context homework. Describe these occurences. 

10/14 “Response to Emmett Till”: After reading the short article on Emmett Till for homework, what is your reaction to it? How do you feel about his family choosing an open casket? How do you feel that the men who killed him were found not guilty? Go into detail

10/15 "Plot Diagram Parts": List and describe as many parts of the plot diagram as you can.
